7005 IAP-VPN

    How many Instant access points would be able to connect to a 7005 controller?

     

    Is it theoretically 512 clusters given that is the VPN client limit and the tunnel would only ever be established to one AP from each cluster at a time?

    Hi Chris_Denham,

    It would not be recommedned to use a 7000 series controller as a VPN concentrator for IAP-VPN.

    Thanks Matthew - what would you recommend instead?

    We are using this for 1-5 sites only and 2 SSIDs at each with fairly light utilisation.
