You should get an Aruba-supported SFP and retest to see if the port is bad.

To add, without more detail in terms of show command outputs, there is no explanation for why the optic would work in one port and not the other.
As Cjoseph has said, we only officially support and warranty our own optics will work in all cases in all ports of our products so without more to go on, that is the best we can go with at this point.
