Is there a way to configure for 802.1x fallthrough to captive portal using just controller features, no switch in the middle configired for fall-through?

802.1X on wireless doesn't have a fall through state, it's either pass or fail. The only way you could fail to a captive portal would be it authentication passes, but an authorization decisions returns a role with a captive portal.

    Thanks,

Thanks Tim. I knew this is how it works in wireless but wasn't sure if the conroller had fall through capabilities for wired endpoints similar to that of large switch vendors (try .1X, if no EAP start then proceed to CP redirect to URL..).
