    Hey,

We have parallel setup of 72xx controllers in AOS6 and AOS8.

In production there are about ~3000 APs in AOS 6. During the AP migration to AOS8, how much APs can be grouped to migrate at a time. For eg group of 50, 100, 200 APs. Appreciate the response.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

You can use the migration tool to make it more smooth

    Link: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_86_Web_Help/Content/migrationguide/overview.htm

It will show a compatible way to migrate it to given scenarios.

I think my question is not about migration tools or manual. I’m looking for an answer for how many numbers of APs can be selected to point to AOS 8 during the migration phase

There are no official numbers about that. As long as you do not exceed the platform capacity you should be fine..
