    Hello.

I would like to know if it's possible to have active standby in AOS 8.6 using Mobility Master. Due to a project design, I can't use clustering to balance the clients/aps and have both in use.

I need to setup one MC as active and other MC as standby in case of failure of the first.

I have no problem with the the time of failover, just need to let it automatically.

    It's possible?

You can still setup LMS-IP and backup LMS-IP two two controllers who are not in a cluster.

Thank you Joseph... even if the both controllers are in the same L2 of the APs, the LMS will work?

No matter what controller the APs discover first, the APs will switch to the LMS and then fail over to the Backup LMS.
