AP-377 Mesh not working

    I'm trying to use one of my outdoor AP-377s as a mesh portal. The mesh point I configured will not connect to it.

     

    I have this working successfully on an AP-315 with the same exact settings and the same exact mesh point AP.

     

    Below is what I get when I run show ap mesh active:

    For some reason it says the EIRP and MaxEIRP are 0.0 on the 377.

     

    When I do a show ap radio-summary for that AP, I get the following:

    It seems like your portal is on 48E, which at least in European countries is not allowed for outdoor use.

     

    Please make sure that in your regulatory domain, the mesh portal is on a channel that is allowed for outdoor use, or more generic your portal has to be on a channel that is supported for your mesh point.

     

    Could that be the issue? It would clarify why it works with an AP315 indoor AP as mesh-point.

     The one on 48E was the working.

     

    What I found was that over the weekend my mesh point rebooted and when it re-joined the network was associated to the same controller that the mesh portal was on. Now it seems to be working as it should.

     

    I don't remember seeing anywhere that the point and portal had to be on the same controller.
