Access Point shows down on master....up on local......

    I have some access points that aren't listed in the provisioning list on the master controller....but they are listed on the local and in airwave.......

     

    So I went to the command line and did a show ap database and the access points are in there but listed as down.

     

    But they are up...and serving clients....

     

    Any clues?

    If the local sees them as up and the master does not, confirm the local is talking to the master properly.

    Yea the controller is listed in there.

     

    I'm going to reboot it tonight and see if they all come back on the master.  Hopefully when I reboot the local they will failover to the backup local and the master can see them then.

    What version of AOS are you running?

    We are running 6.2.0.3...I think....sorry not connected now so can't look to the exact.

     

    At any rate, a reboot of the local cleared the issue up.

    ok because according to the release notes for 6.2 there seems to be a bug regarding this

     

    bug id: 74074 Symptom: APs that are up and running on a local controller are listed as DOWN in the master's AP
    database.
