Active Active - Roaming Clients

    Hi,

     

    Imagine a scenario where we have two controllers (Master - Local) and we want to have 20 APs in one controller and 20 APs in a different controller.

     

    Both controllers share the same VLANs.

     

    In terms of client roaming and RADIUS authentication, would the clients "feel" some impact in their WIFI usage different than a roaming between APs managed by the same controller?

     

    Traffic would be tunneled to the controllers.

    If the client VLANS are the same layer 2 LANs, not necessarily.  But you will then have to locate clients across two controllers, so it is an administrative headache to have clients roaming between controllers.  You want all your access points on one controller or the other.
