I have a WPA2 Enterprise employee wifi setup that prompts users to enter their domain credentials. It works on computers and iPhones but not on Android. This has been a persistant issue that Im finally getting around to looking at. With iPhones the network simply prompts for the user name and password, but with Android you are forced to fill out other information such as EAP method, Phase 2 authentication, CA certificate and anonymous identity. I have tried every combination on these setting to no avail.

While troubleshooting this issue, I keep getting locked out of my domain account, so the credentials are definitely getting passed but are not working for whatever reason.

Anybody ideas on what we are doing wrong here?

Please provide details about your EAP server certificate.

On the other devices, are you using a username/password combination?

You would need the following settings:

    Security: 802.1x EAP

    EAP Method: PEAP

Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2 or None

    Identity: <Username>

    Password: <Password>

That should be all you need. Then go to your RADIUS server and check the logs. Make sure you're receiving a request and confirm if it's successful or failed.
