When we login to VC and execute the command show aps we not get the Ip and other information is blank for an accesspoint

But when we login to switch and execute the command show cdp neighbor detail we get the IP address for that accesspoint and it shows connected

We are able to ping to the IP which we get in cdp ne detail from the VC

Are you able to provide an example (omit the serials from the output :) ) so we can take a look? Do you have ARP entries for the other AP's in the VC. Also what model and InstantOS version are you running?

    Hi Rakshit,

The VC will show the information for all the IAP's in the cluster under "show aps" output.

However, if you will execute the same command on slave IAP, the output will be blank.

Please run the command "show election" to see if it is master or slave.
