Aruba Controller 650 SW Upgrade

Hellooo :smileyhappy:

I have a Problem with upgrading this controller. :smileyfrustrated:

Already SW-Version is running on partition 1 , Now i want to do a upgrade to version

But it is not working,

The failure is : disk space is full.

With the show storage command i can see this :

(OAW-4306G) #show storage
Filesystem                Size      Used Available Use% Mounted on
none                    300.0M      1.5M    298.5M   1% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock11         156.0M    126.2M     29.8M  81% /flash
/dev/mtdblock9           50.0M     40.2M      9.8M  80% /mnt/img0
/dev/mtdblock10          50.0M     44.8M      5.2M  90% /mnt/img1

In the RN is is written that i need at least 75MB of free space to do the upgrade.

What is necessary for a functional Upgrade ?

Thank you for your help !

Re: Aruba Controller 650 SW Upgrade

In your case you have 29MB free on the flash.   You'll need to remove any unnecessary files.   From the CLI, run dir to see what files are on the flash; and their sizes.  Remove or copy off what you can to free up some space.   I am not positive on all the pertinent files to leave, but remove any crash files, logs.tar, backup configs, AP tech-support logs, etc.

Re: Aruba Controller 650 SW Upgrade

Hello !

I have already deleted all possible files.

The only way to install the newest SW on partition 1 was to downgrade part. 0 to !

But that should not be the only way to do that !
