    Hello Experts,

What is the recommended practice from Aruba to enable selectively the "Basic" and "Transmit" Rates?

Are the "Basic" and "Transmit Rates" in Aruba

same as "Mandatory" and "Supported Rates" in Cisco?

For a client device to associate on a WLAN, its is mandatory for the client device to support atleast on of the "Basic Rates" that are ticket against the SSID profile? While "Supported Rates" are those with which the clients will have actual assocation with the Access Point.

The recommended practice is the defaults.  Users might want to optionally remove lower rates to force roaming or to lessen RF utilization, but not all clients can associate if the rates are not at the defaults.
