Aruba S2500-24P not powering on Wireless AP via PoE

Unfortunately I'm not getting my Unifi AP Pro to power up via PoE. Originally I thought it was the AP to blame, so I purchased a second to try, but it has the same behavior of the first - no indication of any power when plugged in via ethernet only. Powers up if I use the PoE injector.

Nothing obviously bad in the logs on the S2500. The web GUI shows PoE is enabled on the ports I'm plugging in. I updated the port profiles to only use PoE on 4 ports in case there was some power limitation issues. I also ran some diagnostic commands and nothing is looking out of the ordinary from what I can tell (output included at end of post).

The only lead I have is when I switch the LED mode to PoE the LEDs on the ports that have PoE enabled are blinking. According to the manual (https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c05315600) that means " Power enabled, but power denied due to unavailability." Searching the internet for that hasn't brought up anything more detailed about that state though, so I don't know if that indicates something is actually wrong or it just means the switch doesn't see a device that is available to power on that port.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! I'm unsure if I should return the hardware to the seller at this point or if I am missing something and just need to change a setting somewhere. I did a factory reset and installed the latest firmware as soon as I got the switch. I also booted into the other partition with an older firmware version to see if that helped, but no difference.

I have one of those and it should work fine.  I assume you have tried the other ports 0-2?

    What is your interface config?

    show run interface gigabit 0/0/3

Thanks for the reply. I have tried a number of ports, all with the same behavior. Here's the output from the command you suggested:

That is the same config I have which works fine.  Have you tried a different type of PoE capable device?

All I can suggest at this point is to create a new PoE profile and apply that to the interface.

I have a PoE camera and an Aruba AP coming in the mail. If neither of those work it seems like I have a bad switch based on our configs matching.

Thanks for your help giving me some more data points here.

I purchased a new switch and everything seems to be working fine with the PoE devices now. On this new piece of hardware when I put the LEDs in PoE mode they all stay unlit until I plug in a PoE device, at which point the status LED will light solid. So it looks like that original piece of hardware was faulty somehow, even though it wasn't showing as having issues in the console command output that I was seeing. Thanks for your help!
