    Hi everyone,

    I had found some APs on AC with flags

     

    Here are some output:

    Flags: U = Unprovisioned; N = Duplicate name; G = No such group; L = Unlicensed
    I = Inactive; D = Dirty or no config; E = Regulatory Domain Mismatch
    X = Maintenance Mode; P = PPPoE AP; B = Built-in AP; s = LACP striping
    R = Remote AP; R- = Remote AP requires Auth; C = Cellular RAP;
    c = CERT-based RAP; 1 = 802.1x authenticated AP; 2 = Using IKE version 2

     

    Some APs' flags disappear after reboot, but the AP-05 's flag still exist.

     

    What did thoes flag mean? and how can I fix it?

    The AP is a standby on the that controller. Do you have a primary and is the configuration in sync between them? The I flag means it is inactive and D is due to dirty config. This can be caused by a few reasons, usually because the VLAN for the VAP which is assigned to the AP is missing. It can also be due to an AP being in AM mode but there is no VAP defined. If you run the command #show profile-errors is there any issues?

    additionally, the dirty flag can also be caused by MTU issues and faulty ethernet ports/cables. Clear out the list of possilbities mentioned by zalion0 and then also check connectivity to the AP using ping, and vary the size from default to 1400 and 1500 bytes, make sure there are no timeouts and lost pings etc.
