    Hi Aireads,

     

    I have client that suffering from slow SMB file calculation of big folder from Wi-Fi (AP-335 units) client connected 5Ghz AC (866Mbps)

    the calculate of all file list before copying taking a long time,While copying a single big file - it's 10 time faster & solid.

     

    While testing in front of Wired environment it's seems that the calculation of all the files that inside the folder taking triple time on Wi-Fi

     

    (Yes drop/convert bcsat enabled)

    client is with latest drivers / We tested on couple of clients same issue.

    Anyone got any  idea's about SMB file copying on Wi-Fi environment - and what it's doing slow file calcution

    Have you created a pcap? I’m curious if there is any TCP retry. Also compare this with a wired pcap.
