    Hi All,

I am working on a VMM with 2x 7205 controller deployments. When I rebooted one of the 7205 controllers after enabling DPI, it came back up as a "master", not an MD. There's no way for me to set the masterip, I get the error:

ERROR: Command can be executed only on /md subtree.

    However, I can't cd to /md because it's a standalone.

This is at a remote site with no hands. How can I convert back to an MD without a factory reset?

Your only option might be Disaster Recovery:  https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_83_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/Configuration_Hierarchy/Config_Hierarchy.htm?Highlight=disaster%20recovery

If you can, please open a tac case to be guided through this.

    Hi Guv,

Currently the only way to do this is a factory reset.
