    Hi,

     

    I need your help, I'm new for the Aruba soluctions.

     

    I created a DHCP on wireless Controller (pool of IP address) for a SSID, now everytime a user

    connected obtain a different IP address from DHCP.

     

    I want warranty  that everytime user connected and gets IP address always obtained the same IP address (based on MAC or another parameter) .

    You can do this by not assigning a lease time to the pool

    Hi friend,

     

    Yes, if we remove the lease, client will always gets the same ip,

     

    here is the POC:

    1. I have created a DHCP pool in the controller without any lease

    2. I have connected two different clients ovet the same SSID.

     

    3. then I have cleared the bindings and users from the controller.

    4. I have re connected in the reverse order.

    Clients got the same IP even if I change the order of the association.

    Hence it is prooved that, when there is no lease configured, clients will get the same IP.
