I regularly update my ArubaOS on my 3200 controller and I was wondering if I ever need to update the CPBoot version.  I've seen some forum postings of controllers running versions higher than mine so I know updates do exist.  I'm wondering if there is any advantages or disadvantages of doing so.

I'm on CPBoot version 1.1.4.0 (build 16250) which I believe is what my controller shipped with.  It was built 2007-09-20 16:14:24.

Also this begs the questions of where I could get a hold of an update and what the update procedure is.

    I have a 4302 controller.
I can not upgrade at all.

By "cpboot" mode I can not ping the gateway.
In the "uartb" mode I make the command "" ifconfig eth0 -addr = 10.24.10.200 -mask = 255.255.255.0 "" ping ok, but when upgrading occore below:

    Npboot> ping 10.24.10.210
    10.24.10.210 (10.24.10.210) is alive
    10.24.10.210 (10.24.10.210): 1 packets sent, 1 received
    *** command status = 0
    Npboot>
    Npboot> load -tftp 10.24.10.210:OAW4302_5.0.4.7_34135
Loader: raw Filesys: tftp Dev: eth0 File: 10.24.10.210: OAW4302_5.0.4.7_34135 Options: (null)
    Loading:
    ........... 262144 bytes read
    Entry at 0x0000000020000000
    *** command status = 0
    Npboot>
    Npboot>

The firmware does not go through completely.
