Can I force a session time limit from the controller?

Hi forum,

I know I can force guests accounts/MAC caching to expire after sometime if I have clearpass in the mix. Can I deploy guest/MAC caching with a 2 hours limit form the controller. I'm thinking to have a captive portal on the controller with accept T&C and logon to allow guest to join.

If possible, how can I do that?

Thanks.

MAC caching is not possible without an external policy server.

OK. take MAC caching out of the picture. Can I force time limit on a session form the controller?

No. The only option user idle timeout, but that only works when the user is idle and not passing traffic (laptop closed).
