Yes you can. What is your setup? Controller based or IAP? What software version are you running?

Check the ArubaOS documentation for the direct Palo Alto integration. Link is for 8.x, it works similar for 6.5.

Correct. Direct integration controller to Palo Alto, no ClearPass required.

The configuration guide was referenced for the Palo Alto integration above: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_83_Web_Help/content/arubaframestyles/pan%20firewall%20integration/pan_firew_integ.htm

For other versions than ArubaOS 8.3/8.4, the guide can be found from the support page: https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/EntryId/218/Default.aspx

As far as I know, the issue is that Fortinet hasn't opened up their API to the level of other vendors. I haven't done that integration myself, but from 'having heard' there might be a partial integration via sending RADIUS accounting to your firewall. That doesn't include role and device information, but the IP-username mapping may work. As said, I have not tried, nor I have specific documentation on how to set that up on the firewall side. I assume that configuring RADIUS accounting on the Aruba side is trivial for you.
