Cisco (and other routers & switches) can track downstream objects, such as interfaces, VLANs, next-hop IP addresses etc. and re-configure the way they function, to provide enhanced resilience; e.g. mark routes down, VRRP master can failover, OSPF advertisements changed etc. Can ArubaOS, running on a controller, do anything similar? I will be having two controllers in DMZs, fronting two differerent Internet links. If the Internet links don't themselves provide OSPF updates of their status, can I get the controllers to monitor those links and advise the inside network appropriately?
