Can i setup a MD cluster without NTP server?

THe GUI only gives the one option 'using NTP' when configuring  Clock for Managed Devices. I do not have a NTP server since it is a lab system.

    Thanks!

The use of NTP is highly recommended. That said, you should be able to create a cluster regardless. Are you getting an error when trying to cluster your lab mds?

    Thanks for your reply.

I did not get an error when trying to cluster my lab MDs. I specify MM IP as an NTP server IP.

I wonder if the cluster will work without real NTP server, for example, the client failover seemlessly. Two controllers have differrent clock and cannot be synced.

    Cheers!

Manually set the clocks as close as possible, or preferrably use an external NTP time source for testing if an internal time source is not available.
