I am using devices that I used with no issues for or older Cisco network, Ekahau ess and Fluke Aircheck. We just upgraded our Wireless network to an Aruba wireless network with 59 APs. The Fluke can only see WAP Mac addresses for the SSIDs and the Ekahau ESS software sees names for many other wireless APs and devices except Aruba. I have to look at the MAC address then convert that to what AP it is which does not work well when trying to troubleshoot. Does anyone know how to broadcast the AP name?
Thanks
Please turn on "Advertise AP Name" in SSID-Profile;
wlan ssid-profile <> advertise-ap-name
Same is available in the Advanced Tab under SSID Profile.
