Wireless Access

Hi Guys,

 

I am using captive portal and enable "Show the acceptable use policy page".

After connecting to wireless policy page will show. After clicking Accept it takes time to redirect to internet. It is trying to go to this page https://securelogin.arubanetworks.com/cgi-bin/login site.

 

For windows XP it is fine but for apple iPhone and IPad it takes time. Is there any way to speed up redirection even Redirect Pause, Logon wait minimum wait settings and Logon wait maximum wait was reduced to 3 secs.

 

Also how to bypass internet browser this notification.

A couple of things your could do :
- under the layer 3 auth for the captive portal profile you could change the redirect pause from 10 to maybe 5 or 3 seconds
- the web server in the controller allows you to have 25 concurrent users you could increase that a higher number
- you should create a netdest for *apple.com and the create an ACL rule to allow http/https and place that in the logon role position 1

Please open a support case and they will get you sorted out.  There are multiple issues here that could be at play.
