Community String

    Where would I find the Community String on my 620 controller.  I have a phone system that is asking for it.

    You can define it on Configuration --> SNMP (on the left under Management).   A new install has no string.

    From the CLI.  If it's not in there, then set it using the command shown as well below:

     

    (3200) #show running-config | include comm
    Building Configuration...
    snmp-server community "public"
