    My customer deployed a RAP 155 to an international site with no wired internet access and has subsequently purchased a 4G card.  Is there a way to configure the USB modem using the RAP environmental settings to allow the RAP to connect back to a controller?

    Thanks

    Yes, but....You would need to have a supported 3g/4g card and carrier...

    Ok...the card is a Sierra Wireless 320 card which is on the 6.3.1 approved card list on arubapedia/afp.  What parameters can be set by way of the apboot parameters?  thanks...RB

    I am fairly certain it's Telstra.
    Thanks Colin...

    Controller-Based RAP or Before IAP version 3.4.0.4:

    usb_dev = 0x0f3d68aa

    usb_init  = 1,0,telstra.bigpond

    usb_tty = ttyUSB2

    usb_type = sierra-net

    IAP version 3.4.0.4 and above:

    modem-country=AUS

    modem-isp=Telstra
