    Just a thought—

    Is there any way, thru the web UI, to constrain how an AP can be named?

     

    We’ve come up—internally—with a naming convention... but would like to enforce it when people are trying to enter names for new devices, or rename old ones.

     

    Maybe with drop down menus? (site, building, room)— I know, I’m dreaming...

     

    Just curious.

    That is not a feature, unfortunately.  You are at the mercy of adults.
