RAP-2's can only operate as a remote AP.

Also, just because it is operating as a RAP, doesn't mean you can't use it in the campus environmnet. Just make sure your public controller endpoint IP is accessible from inside your network.

Cappalli,

I read on the Product Line Matrix that the RAP-2 can support the convertion to CAP.

Is because I have that doubt.

I send the .pdf if you can chek this part.

Does it show up in the AP Installation screen on your controller?

Boot it up new on the same subnet as a controller and it will function as a CAP.

They weren't designed for the load of a campus environment. Especially the
RAP-2 which is designed for 3-4 devices.
