On my Mobility Master environment - I am running 20 & 40 mhz channels.

    I have disbaled 80mhz.

I can see some clients showing they are running on channel 108 (DFS) - is this enabled by default?

Should I disable this and how?

Please do some research on DFS. DFS channels are not enabled by default in North America.

I did read up on it but I'm not that clear in what way it should be in Europe, or GB as I am in - is this supposed to be on by default?

Is it safe to leave the way it is ?

From what I have read if radar detects this DFS channel to be in use it will switch channel? This shouldn't cause any connection issue with users as it will just select another channel that is usable? Or am I wrong in this ?

If this is the GB regulatory domain, most of the 5ghz channels are DFS.  https://www.silextechnology.com/unwired/changes-to-the-5ghz-wi-fi-band-in-the-uk

Access Points must change channels if they detect radar on a DFS channel but clients will simply find another channel.  It is rare to detect radar unless you are near an Airport or there is weather radar in the area.

Yeah I believe what threw me off is the radar detect enable messages however as you pointed out it looks like this is the AP booting.

So my issue is just the random reboots of APs not the actual radar (DFS channels)

Appreciate you clarifying this one anyway puts my mind at ease
