    Hello,

I am trying to learn how the easiest and best way to disable a controller port is.

I have been informed to issue a shutdown command from Aruba Support.  But in reading how to verify that the port is disabled one may execute >show port status<enter>

Then look at the 'Admin State' column.

"AdminState Indicates if the physical port is enabled or disabled." If that is the case.... Why not just uncheck the 'AdminState' checkbox from the Web UI (MM - MN - Group - Controller - Configuration - Interface - Ports - AdminState)?

Would that do the same thing and be much easier?
