Do we need to buy extra Licences when Replacing APs

  • 1.  Do we need to buy extra Licences when Replacing APs

    We've got 146 AP-93H on 7205 controller with 146 "Capacity" Licences,146  "RF Protect" and 146 "PEF" Licences installed, and we planning replacing old AP-93H  with  newer model AP-303H. 

    Do we need  to buy  APs with those Licences again or we can just buy  APs without Licences as they already installed?

    No, when you remove the 93APs the licenses will be available.

    If you are planning to do a one to one replacement you don’t need to purchase new licenses
