Im wondering if there is a way to duplicate and rename a user role?

We have 6000 series controllers and I have several roles created for each category of user, student, staff, faculty, guest etc.

Rather than go through and manually create a new user role and recreate all the access conditions, Id like to copy an existing one and rename it to something else and then edit it?

How would I copy the existing role and rename it via the cmd line?

    Thanks

There is currently no "Clone" option like the AP groups, but you could just copy the config text for a user, replace the name, then paste it back in.

Copy Running Config in notepad. it will help you to copy paste under new user role :-)
