    Hi,

Does anyone know that enable to delete built-in "mgmt-user admin account" with arubaOS6.1?

I was not able to find documentation or command refernces about that.

I don't have an equipment, but my boss told me to find out.

    Thanks

You cannot.  I would set it up with a long, complicated password.

    Good day,

    What about disabling the account?

We have a AD account by the same name "admin" and the controller is trying to authenticate with the local account to AirWave (through Clearpass) and constantly gets rejected since ClearPass tries to authenticate to AD first.

We do not use the local "admin" account on the controller and if we can't delete, we would like to disable it to keep from filling up the reject log in CP.

Or, a different solution to stop it from using that account to authenticate.

    Thanks

You can disable the use of local management accounts, so that they will never be queried if you have a radius or Tacacs server available: http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_65x_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/Management_Utilities/Radius_Server_Authentica.htm?Highlight= localauth-disable
