Failed to migrate from 6.5 to 8.5

    Hello,

    I try to migrate from 6.5 to 8.5 MCM ; standlone mode.

    I have this error message :

     

    flash/config/partial/

    Couple of questions, what type of controller is this? Are you using the migration tool for this?

     

    The error states SCP has failed, is SCP permitted between the controller and migration tool.

    Aruba 7205.

    SCP is permitted between the controller and migration tool.

    As you can see in the log before :

    I've tried a ove version MigrationTool_V3.2.3 with version Aruba Mobility Controllers (AOS) v8.3 but always the same  Error: File Copy Failed!! Stopping the migration. Please check the logs for more details.

     

    connection is good between controller and the tool, SCP not blocked..

    Hello,

    After analysis :

     

    1.)My virtual machine was hosted in my laptop,so the flashbackup generation was not fast due to a performance problem, so when the controller tries to recover a file which is not yet generated the update fails.

     

    2.) When a I tried to update the controller from 6.5 to 8.5.0.4 in ftp i got this error message : Error upgrading image: ncftpget ArubaOS_72xx_8.5.0.4_72900: could not retrieve remote file.

    But l'upgrade is successful with ftp in 8.3 or 8.2.

     

    3.) the solution was to upgrade in TFTP (8803 second) directly to 8.5.0.4.

     

    Is this a bug in 8.5.0.4 ?
