Help, can not get MC7024 into Airwave (Hosted)

    I try to monitor the MC7024 we have at a customers site. Our Airwave is hosted, and firewall is open - the cusotmers Firewall has no restrictions on port UDP 161 and 162 as well for 22.

     

    We added in customers firewall port forwarding rules to MC7024 IP address on port UDP 161 and 612 as well SSH 22.

     

    In MC7024 we added the Airwave server IP address, as well V3 and all the security passwords etc.

     

    In Airwave we added the Aruba Device twice, with Internal IP on customers network, as well the WAN IP of customer (w think using the port forwarding rules Airwave shold be able to reach out to the MC7024). Correct?

     

    What is going wrong here?

    Airwave will initially use the public address to discover the device, but after will use the private address of the management interface of the device.  How you have it configured will probably not work initially. You should look to "manage" the device in Airwave and see what ip addresses it is using to reach the device.

    It is set to reach out to WAN IP, and hiiting POLL NOW button provides information about correct internal LAN IP. So it can reach out to him..

     

    But I got this message in event log:

     

    Status changed to 'ICMP ping failed (after SNMP get failed)'

     

    What is problem now?

     

    I even can ping the AW Servers IP via MC CLI 

    Sending 5, 92-byte ICMP Echos to 185.xx.xx.xx, timeout is 2 seconds:
    !!!!!
    Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 7.639/12.5152/14.431 ms

    The SNMP Gets and Pings are from Airwave to the MC.  If that does not work, that could explain your issue.  Go to the shell of the Airwave controller and see if it can ping the device.

    Ping form AW CLI does not work on the WAN IP for location Controller is set behind firewall.

     

    Which ports must be opened - to check - or forwarding rules be active to LAN IP for the controller behin firewall?

    Update, after a new POLL COMPLETE the system Device Event Sys log shows:

     

    Oct 6 12:13:30 2016 wpcontrolleraruba <wpcontrolleraruba 192.168.200.10>
    httpd: Session couldn't be retrieved from DB.

     

    What is the problem?
