Highest firmware 6.5.4.14

    Hello

     

    I have a mix of IAP-103 IAP-205 and IAP-207 devices. I can't upgrade higher than 6.5.4.14, because IAP-103 and IAP-205 are not supported in the 8.3 firmware.

     

    If I don't need the new interface or features, is it ok to keep using the firmware 6.5.4.14 for 2 or 3 more years? Is this OK for security?

    Hello, 

     

    Based on https://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/end-of-life/

     

    enf of support is announced until 31th of August 2022 but end of development is still TBD. 

     

    I would say, yes you can continue with this firmware until August 2022. But start to think about renewal. Address that to your management to have some budget. 

     

     

    have a look about the end of development, in case of major security breach, I don't know if Aruba will develop a patch after the EOD.
