    Hi!

    We have used these sticks for many years without problem but then on RAP 5.

    Now when i try to use them on a RAP 3 i cant get it to work.

    These are the settings i've used before on RAP5.

    Initialization String: AT+CGDCONT=1,'IP','internet.telenor.se'
    Device Type: Option
    Dial String: ATDT*99#

    The USB disk drive on the stick have been disabled so no modeswitch should be required.

    The Modem works ok in a PC and no sim code are used.

    Controller is a 3400 with Firmware 6.2.1.3

    Anyone know how to get this working?

    Regards Jesper

    Is this t-Mobile or KPN?

    For T-mobile, please try:

    usb-user t-mobile

    usb-passwd tm

    usb-init AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet.t-mobile"

    usb-dev 0x12D11001 usb-dial ATD*99#

    usb-tty ttyUSB0

    usb-modeswitch "-v 0x12d1 -p 0x1446 -V 0x12d1 -P 0x1001 -M 55534243123456780000000000000011060000000000000000000000000000"

    usb-type option

    For KPN:

    usb-type=option

    usb-dev=0x12d11506

    usb-init=AT+CGDCONT=1,'IP,'internet'

    usb-dial=ATDT*99# usb-modeswitch="-v 12d1 -p 1446 -M 55534243123456780000000000000011062000000100000000000000000000"

    Thanks for the answer.

    Sadly it didn't work, though I have recognized this as a bug in  version 6.2.1.3

    I moved the AP to a controller running 6.3.1.0 and configured it. Worked perfectly.

    Moved it back to the 6.21.3 controller and it stopped working.

    So it seems I have to find a window to update the controller.

    While we are on the topic of 3G/4G does anyone know how to get a ZTE MF821D to work?

    At the moment there are no supported 3g/4g USB modems we can buy in Sweden which work with Telenor

    Would much appreciate any hint on how to get this working.

    The Huawei e1750 was our last one in stock and now we can't connect any more customers.

    /Jesper

    These are the settings we have for the 820D.  Perhaps they are the same?

    usb_type=option (2)

    usb_dev=0x19d20167

    usb_init=AT+CGDCONT=1,'IP','online.telia.se'

    usb_tty=ttyUSB2

    usb_dial=ATD*99#
