IAP 105 and IAP 207 in same network

As per my finding Aruba IAP 207 running Aruba Instant 6.5.1.0-4.3.1.0 while Aruba IAP 105 not longer supported from Aruba Instant 6.5.0.0-4.3.0.0 onward.

So I can't run IAP 207 and IAP 105 in a single cluster.

Would deploying a new physical controller help to manage both IAP 207 and IAP 105?

You are correct that there is no common Instant AP firmware version for the end-of-sale IAP-105 and the IAP-207. With a mobility controller, both APs can run ArubaOS 6.5.1 or up.

Depending on your situation, you may also consider upgrading the AP-105's as well or creating two separate (isolated) clusters. Please work with your Aruba partner or local Aruba Sales team to find the best solution in your specific case.

Currently is running 2 different clusters. Which we want to resolve while ensure old IAP 105 still usable.

With Mobility controller, can group both APs and broadcast the same SSID right?

Will there be any limitation as 105 is 802.11n while 207 is 802.11ac?

With a mobility controller, the network will behave as a single network/SSID.

Mixing 802.11n and 802.11ac access points goes well, in general, if you disable 80 MHz channels, so either 20 or 40 MHz channels on the 5 GHz radios for all APs. Some clients appear to don't like switching channel width during roaming.
