Installing VIA on MAC OS 10.6.8

    Downloaded VIA package for my MAC Mini running 10.6.8, run the pkg installer, after clicking on "Agree" to the license agreement. 

     

    The next question asked is "How to you want to install this software", the option is not selectable? Any idea?

    I wasn't able to recreate this. Do you have another Snow Leopard install that you can test on?

    I logon as root and install it from Terminal, I got the error below indicating that the VIA 2.0.0.2 is not design for OSX. I then download the VIA 1.0 and everything is working like a charm now :-)

     

    Error message from Terminal.
    installer: Mac VIA is not designed for this OSX.
