Hi we have successfully integrated WLC 7010 with Radius server, configured Captive portal authentication.

captive portal using controller default certificate and HTTP enabled for Captive portal authentication.

but we are facing issue as once users connected to SSID browsers will not redirect automatically if users trying to access HTTPS website.

    1. how can we resolve this issue without trused SSL certificate.

    2. can we download any intermediate certificaate from controller then we can upload the same to enduser pc browser to avoid this certificate error.

You cannot redirect HTTPS traffic. See why: http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Technology-Blog/Captive-Portal-why-do-I-get-those-certificate-warnings/ba-p/268921

And you will need a trusted certificate on the controller in order to pass guest credentials securely without certificate warnings.
