    Hi All

Setting up an internal CP splashpage on the Virtual controller

CP page opens with https://securelogin.arubanetworks.com - certificate error

Other than uploading a new certificate is there an option to turn off HTTPS for the internal CP ?

    thank you

    Barry

I don't believe HTTP is an option.

The trick is to get the entire cert chain. Aruba support can help you chain your certs together, or ask your CA to provide you with a fully chained cert which includes the intermediate and root portions.

    Hi

To disable the HTTPs is not an option, because the client's browser block the connection when he open an SSL protection page. For example:

Client open "https://www.google.com" -> Controller redirect to CP "http://securelogin.arubanetworks.com" -> Client block insecure connection and neither the CP nor google will open.

To solve this issue, replace the certificate on the controller or instat with a one of yours, change the CP URL to custom one and add this in your internal DNS.

    I hope that helps.
