    Newbie to Aruba here...

In hopes of trying to limit the amount of traffic coming back to the controller I was thinking of bridging the client traffic at the AP, if possible of course. This option is available on other vendors platforms. Is this an option with the Aruba 7200 series of controllers using AP225.

    Thanks.

Yes. you can configure AP as bridge mode.

Run the "Campus WLAN" wizard, select SSID mode as "bridge" , Vlan id "1", authentication method etc..

Wireless user will get same range IP address which you assiged for AP.
