    Has anyone had an issue promoting a 2400 controller running 5.0.2.0 to a master from a local?  I attempted this today and the httpd_wrap process kept failing which caused the controller to continually reboot.  Spent five hours ( yes, five hours) with Aruba TAC and got nowhere.  Their only fix was to update to 5.0.4.0, but that only modified the problem (controller stopped rebooting, but httpd_wrap would never finish initializing, so GUI and captive-portal web interface would not work).  Eventually gave up and kept it a local.  Anyone have a similar issue?

    Did you try backing up the configuration and licenses and wiping the controller, and restoring?  Quite frankly the 2400 is end of life, so alot of this behavior would go unnoticed...
