    Greetings to all,

    This is an issue that happens only over wifi, for it works as expected over an ethernet cable. I am a newbie, so please accept my apologies in advance if it is off topic.

    When trying to download a 240 KB minified CSS file from a web browser (be it Chrome, FF, Safari), it loads up to a point, but never finishes.

    With Wireshark I noticed a recurring behavior:
    - transmission is fine up to 208,849 bytes, frame 278;
    - on frame 279 there is an error "TCP Previous segment not captured";
    - a total of 20 "DUP ACK" are sent, for frame 278;
    - the remaining frames containing all the file are delivered, up to frame 313, but never "make their way into the browser".

    Curl was able to download the CSS file when the output was directed to a file, but not to the screen.

    Regards, and thank you all.

    Dear Colin Joseph, thank you for your reply

    I am sorry for I am not sure about your question ("What kind of client is this?"), so pardon me if my answer does not address it properly.

    If by client you mean me, I am software a developer working for a company in Brazil that (as I was told) uses Aruba to deliver wifi connections to its employees.

    He means what kind of device is attempting to access the wifi when this error occurs.

    If you are a software developer, I suggest you troubleshoot this with your person that administers your wireless deployment.  It is quite possible that they have a configuration that would interfere with what you are trying to do.

    Colin Joseph, thanks again for your attention to this matter.

    As for your kind suggestion ("If you are a software developer, I suggest you troubleshoot this with your person that administers your wireless deployment."), I have already tried that route, but so far our net gurus haven't figured it out, and the issue persists.

    Since this issue is somehow impacting application deployment (although there might be other routes), I thought time could be gained, working in parallel, being "on the shoulders of giants", the fellow experts who make part of this forum and gracefully share their knowledge, while local support works on it.

    Regards to all,

    Flavio, your approach makes sense, but we need to involve your administrators as well, because the problem might be wired, wireless, the specific VLAN the wireless is on, or other devices in the path.  It could also be a combination of all of those things. We need to involve your administrators to troubleshoot that with TAC so that you can get to the bottom of it.
