LED's flashing amber

I have a test lab and 3 AP's connected to a single controller. All three AP's have their 802.11 LED's continuously flashing amber. The AP's do not show as active on the controller when I check from the CLI. So it appears I have a communications problem. Do the LED's tell me anything or just that they cannot find their master?

    Thanks,

Is there another controller in the network?  If there is, then would these APs be in there?  Is the AP rebooting?  If not, then it did find a controller to join to.

The controller and AP's are in a self contained network with nothing else (besides the switch connecting them). They are not rebooting, but they do not appear to have found the controller. Next step is to do a purge.
