    Dear Airheads,

maybe a simple question but there is no answer for me right now. Having two controllers 7010 and 7205 both in standalone mode with 8.3.0.0 and 8.3.0.6 release. After entering proper licenses and doing a "write memory" I unplug my power cord and reboot the controllers. All licenses are "gone" and I have to reenter them. Is there somewhere a "hidden" "dont`t-forget-my-licenses-knob" ? :-)

I did also a write erase all and started from scratch. Same issue.

    Thank you!

Licenses should not be lost on power cycle. Please contact Aruba TAC.

    found it out  myself!

If you install a license and do write mem + power cycle (meaning power off), the licenses are lost and you have to re-enter them.

If you are doing a reload of the box instead you can see "Syncing database....." on the CLI.

This obviously saves the licenses for next reboot. After that you are also save to power cycle

    Tested with 8.3.0.0 and 8.4.0.2
