Manage read/write mode when ap is down

    My ap is showing down in airwave and it is in monitor mode.I tried to move it to manage read/write mode but got the message "The following devices do not support management mode"

     

    Can someone explain this to me

    If this is a Campus AP, you should only put the controller in read-write mode, because that is what sends the commands to the APs.

    Remote APs get their configuration from the controller.  Only the controller configuration is managed by Airwave.  The remote AP configuration is pushed only to the controller from Airwave, not directly to the APs themselves.
