Master IP

I need to migrate RAPs onto a new controller which happens to be a local. If I provision the RAPs with a "master IP address" of the local controller will the RAPs have any issues if the device is not actually a master.

Re: Master IP

You can terminate remote AP's to a local controller without any problems.

Re: Master IP

Thank you.

Re: Master IP

The masterip just tells the AP where to go initially to get their configuration.  If there is no lms-ip in the config sending the ap to a different controller, they will stay on that masterip.
