Wireless Access

We are running OS 6.3.1.5 on our controllers with ClientMatch enabled and have had an almost universal deployment of a little over 400 AP105s across campus.  Over the last few months, we've been upgrading a few of the more heavily used buildings to AP115s.  In one of the buildings that has been recently upgraded, there are now conversations about covering a few offices that never had good coverage (coverage has been focused on classrooms).  Some of the discussions included using AP105s for these offices.

What are the implications of mixing models within the same building?

I dont think it will be huge deal since both are 802.11n but the 105 are 2x2 and the 115 are 3x3 so you might see a slight change in throughtput and signal range and in some cases you might see clients trying to stay connect to the 115 AP since it has more chains which helps with diversity but ClientMatch should be able to assist you that.

In an enviroment with mixed AP models, is ClientMatch smart enough to put more clients on the higher end AP models and less on the others, or does it try to just distribute them as evenly as possible?

Not necessarily , the main purpose for ClientMatch is to place the clients in better AP based on (Signal, SNR , Load on the AP, etc..)
