We are replacing our entire wireless infrastructure with AP 105's and redundant 7220's
What we would like to do is when adding the AP's to our current switches, we assign 1 VLAN to the switch which tunnels the traffic back to the controller, and sends the information out on the correct VLAN from the controller.
As an example
AP's are on VLAN 10
Controller is Trunked on VLAN 10,20,30
Client 1 connects to SSID1 on AP which is on VLAN 20. Traffic is tunneled over VLAN 10 from the AP to the controller and at the controller is sent out on VLAN 20.
Client 2 connects to SSID2 on AP which is on VLAN 30. Traffic is tunneled over VLAN 10 from the AP to the controller and at the controller is sent out on VLAN 30.
The reason we are asking this, is so we do not have to set up all the static ports on the switch's trunked with multiple VLANs for each AP.
Is this possible with the AP's/Controller?
Thanks
